 I had skipped a few pages, so went back to them and did my favored approach of using scraps that were available. Then I made two stamps - the one in the corner could be an arrow, but is a tree

I've been working on a prompt from JOURNAL52 prompt, "found poetry". I happened to have a page from an old book, it was from writing by Patrick Henry. This appeared to me - "I have but lamp by which my feet are guided."
I printed it in some fun lettering then, cut out the words, highlighted the edges with an ink pad, added a bit of white, then arranged them on a large postcard advertising an orchid event over which I had painted. Then I made a lamp and attached that with scor-tape as I had the words.
I'll add photos as system allows.


NEXT OPEN STUDIO April 12

Next OPEN STUDIO on February 15 beginning new journal, and completion of another.  I have supplies to share as well as ideas for getting started .
I put photos on my Facebook page.

I've been presenting winter landscapes with my students. We looked at one by Vincent and had great discussions. Now I'm really enjoying the  first snow:

I covered the edges with black board to cover the white canvas, but have some holes between the pieces at the corners. Need black canvas, but will still need the black board, I think. I have two questions... 1. do I need to something on the stones?  2. or some black lines in the inked area ?
