This Saturday, April 13, is the first of monthly OPEN STUDIO events, from 1- 4:00. It's a See & Share. Bring what you're working on, or wish you were, and I'll have several ART JOURNALS to look at, and Mason will behave.
The petals looked lovely after the blossoms "went by" and will be lovely for a journal coverto show on Saturday.

winds maneuver clouds
through the sky,over the sun,
spring’s breath snaps wet rugs

Stitching with second graders

Yesterday, I worked with a second grade class showing a few quilts and having them stitch fabric covers for the "Pour quoi  Stories". They trace an animal on the fabric and then paint the muslin.  Photos to follow.

two thousand twelve !!!

January 2011

Well, Leap Day brought the snow I've been missing all winter. And it's still snowing on March 1st. No photos yet. I'll get those on a later trip. This is one of my favorites; I actually keep a copy out year round.
Deezel was running around like a puppy, loving the snow.
I've been working on art, and finishing some fabric pieces for my upcoming exhibit opening March 23 in Newmarket. This is one of eight large pieces that will be included.

Work on and of paper will be on view  including  Art Journals and "365 Daily Haiku 2009".
